What Isolare does
Isolare separates a song into clean, studio-grade stems — vocals, drums, bass, guitar, keys, and everything else — entirely on your Mac. It's tuned for rock and pop band arrangements (drums · bass · guitars · vocals · keys) and also works on other genres. A quick 2-stem mode splits any track into vocals + instrumental in one pass.
Getting started
- Drag an audio file (MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, or AIFF) onto the window — or click Browse files.
- Choose the folder where you want the stems saved.
- Isolare separates the song on-device and drops the stems (24-bit WAV) plus a report into that folder.

Troubleshooting
- The first run pauses on "Loading model." That's normal — the separation model loads into the GPU on the first pass. It's shown with a spinner and clears in a few seconds.
- "Not enough free disk space." Separation writes a large temporary working folder before cleaning up. Free up space and try again.
- "Isolare couldn't read that file." Use a supported format (MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AIFF). Very short, silent, or corrupt files may not separate cleanly.
- A stem is missing or empty. If the song has no piano or "other" content, Isolare skips that near-silent stem instead of shipping an empty file.
Your music never leaves your Mac
No data collected
Isolare is built to be completely private. It processes your audio locally and collects nothing about you or your files.
In short: Isolare has no account, no network access, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. Your songs and stems stay on your computer.
What we collect
Nothing. Isolare does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user profile.
Your audio
The songs you separate and the stems Isolare produces are processed entirely on your Mac and are never uploaded anywhere. Input files stay where they are; output stems are written only to the folder you choose. Isolare works with no internet connection.
Analytics & tracking
Isolare contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash-tracking SDKs, and no third-party trackers. It does not fingerprint your device or monitor your usage.
Network
Isolare does not connect to the internet. The separation engine and all models are bundled in the app and run offline on-device.
Diagnostics you choose to send
If you email us for support, any details you include (such as a description of a problem) are used only to help you and are not shared with anyone else.
Children's privacy
Isolare collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
